The Nikon COOLPIX S01 Digital Camera (Silver) is more than your typical compact point-and-shoot; it’s a convenient pocket cam that anyone can master. For example, the S01’s 2.5″ touch screen features 4 large icon-based touch buttons that easily guide you to all the camera’s menu options for still and video capture, playback, and in-camera editing and creative functions.
Albeit simple, the camera is also a decent image maker with 10.1MP of resolution, a NIKKOR lens (29-87mm 35mm equivalent), 3x optical zoom, and a built-in flash. This means you can capture detailed subjects near and far, and shoot at night or in low-light with confidence. The S01 also records 720p HD video. No matter how you choose to record your memories, however, the camera stores it all to its built-in 7.3GB memory.
The S01 also features a built-in battery. This means no spare batteries to carry around and you never need worry about losing the camera’s power source. Additional highlights of the camera include modes like creative filters and special effects for enhancing your images in-camera. And you will especially benefit from the Easy Auto Mode which takes all the guess work out of shooting. Simply point the S01 and capture the moment!

29-87mm Equivalent NIKKOR VR Lens with 3x Optical & 4x Digital Zoom
For a camera this tiny, it still manages to shoot with a 3x Optical Zoom–the 35mm equivalent of a 29-87mm standard lens.
